Police Magistrate at Old Street, E.C., 1914-23, at Marylebone, 1923-25, and at Bow Street, W.C., 1925-26, Dep.Chm.of Quarter Sessions for County of London 1926; born 8th February 1864, educated University College London, and Downing College Cambridge (B.A.) married 5th November, 1892, Florence (died 30th October, 1937), daughter of Charles James Monk, M.A., of Bedwell park, Hatfield, Herts, M.P., D.L., J.P., and died 28th March, 1941, leaving issue.
