94. Ven. Robert Isaac WILBERFORCE^1,4,6 was born on 19 Dec 1802.⁴ He died on 3 Feb 1857. Robert Isaac (Ven), Archdeacon of East Riding; ordained 1826, Fell. of Oriel Coll. Oxford 1826, Sub-Dean and Tutor 1828, Rector of East Farleigh, Kent, 1832, and of Burton Agnes, Yorks, 1840, Archdeacon of East Riding 1841, entered Roman Catholic Church 1854; friend of Cardinal Newman and Cardinal Manning; born 19th December 1802, educated Oriel College, Oxford (B.A. 1824, M.A. 1827)

He fell ill at Albano just outside of Rome and buried by a special request of the Pope in the Church of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva in front of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. This is the titular Church of the present Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster.

Ven. Robert Isaac WILBERFORCE and Agnes Everilda Frances WRANGHAM were married on 16 Jun 1832. Agnes Everilda Frances WRANGHAM⁴ (daughter of Ven. Frances WRANGHAM MA, FRS) died during child birth in Nov 1834. Daughter of Ven Francis Wrangham, M.A., F.R.S., Archdeacon successively of Cleveland and East Riding, Preb. of York. L G P


Ven. Robert Isaac WILBERFORCE and Agnes Everilda Frances WRANGHAM had the following children:
